Design in 2010, Wilson has been hailed as one to watch after being chosen to exhibit in the Royal Scottish Academy’s ‘New Contemporaries’ exhibition in 2011.
Colin Wilson says ‘painting photo realism still-lifes with a contemporary twist has always been my favourite subject matter and I am so delighted to see the response for my latest work, some of which really pushes the boundaries in its contemporary approach to this more traditional format and subject matter’.
Artist Colin Wilson’s original work is now sought after by collectors throughout the world and, as well as at the Red Rag Gallery in the Stow on the Wold, he exhibits at a number of leading contemporary art galleries throughout the UK.
