title="Art School and Education- Scottish art, artist and paintings">Glasgow School of Art. Morrison gained a Dip.Ed. Prim/ Sec in 1973. John then pursued a career in Education teaching art at Scottish schools.
In 1994 John Morrison became Art Advisor for the Strathclyde region and Art Advisor for Glasgow School of Art Education. In 1997 Morrison began to paint full-time.

John's vibrant use of rich colour conveying 'a feeling of joy and happiness in a sometimes depressing world', has made him the most popular living Scottish landscape artist.
